Summer Winding Down

I got on here today to see family and friends' updates and realized it has been around 6 months since our last update. I guess time flies by when you're havin fun, right? I was too lazy to upload each pic one by one so I settled for a slide show instead. As much as we missed the warmer southern Utah winter, we've decided that summer up here in Lehi is much better than the summers in St. George (sorry friends down there, but it's true). Between family reunions, Mom and Dad Priday returning from Canada, trips to the cabin, and running Cade to all of his outings and activities, it's been a pretty busy summer. Everyone has adjusted well to the newness of living back here in Lehi and fit right in. Work is going as good as be expected although I still feel out of my element. The brothers-in-law make the new job as fun as possible. I definitely miss the paychecks from Split Rock though. Guaranteed income. What a great concept. The important thing is that we have each other:)

We're settled for now...

I finally found some time to sit and update the blog. We will nowhere near meet Jani's posting frenzy (Nice job, Jani!). The move is done and we are all alive. We definitely couldn't have done it without the help of family and friends. Amazingly enough, the truck was locked and loaded within 2 hours. Thanks to the men from the ward who showed up on their day off. Thanks to Kyle and Mindy for helping out in more ways than one can imagine. We will surely miss you guys! Thank you Darin and Kali for driving down. The girls are still talking about how much fun they had entertaining Kylie throughout the trip. Thanks Nate for sacrificing time away from your wife and kids to help out. Thanks Jani for allowing Nate to come down. We all decided that you had the hardest job of all. Thanks Lori for the support. We know under different circumstances you would have been there too. Mandy for checking in for moral support. Mom and Dad in Canada for the many phone calls to calm my troubled nerves. And last but certainly not least - Mom and Dad here who are going to be closer to us in the next couple of months than they probably want. We are looking forward to being close to family.
